t was an emotional day for Jacqueline and Andrew as they finally had their dream day at the fifth attempt.
After booking me to film their wedding in 2018, we had the pandemic hit our lives with caused the couple to postpone their wedding day.
Their day at the Black Horse Beamish, a glass marquee wedding venue overlooking the Beamish Valley in County Durham was an emotional event as they decided to do a gender reveal for their new baby in front of all their friends and family.
It was such an emotional moment as the confetti cannons revealed they are due to have a little boy in August.
It was great to work with Darren from DJM Photography for the second time after having worked with him only a few weeks previously.
On arrival, I headed in to see Jacqueline who was getting her hair and make-up done with her mother and bridesmaids.
After grabbing a few shots I took the opportunity to get some drone shots with the April morning weather being so glorious.
As I dotted between the bridal preparations and the venue, Andrew arrived with his groomsmen to have some photographs taken and welcome the guests who were starting to arrive. Andrew had sent Jacqueline a gift box full of presents and a card to show his appreciation for her.
After this it was time for a moment that is one of the most special of the day, when the father of the bride sees his daughter in her dress for the first time. There wasn’t a dry eye in the house as Gary burst into tears seeing his daughter.
It was then time for the ceremony in which I captured Andrew saying some lovely words to Jacqueline as she met his at the aisle before Emma gave a beautiful reading and a candle ceremony was conducted.
After the ceremony, the guests had their reception drinks and followed the couple outside for the confetti walk where Jacqueline was covered in confetti before Darren from DJM took the couple away for a few portrait shots.
The wedding breakfast saw Jacqueline’s father Gary deliver a lovely speech followed by Andrew talking about how much he loves his new wife. Andrew’s brother delivered the final speech of the proceedings.
The evening concluded with the traditional cake cut, followed by the first dance before Jacqueline and her father shared a dance together.
