Wedding Date on Jul 15, 2019

From the bride: "Jackson and I had known of each other for YEARS. and Jackson even had a crush on me when we were little. (He was like 12ish and he remembers seeing me around, thinking, "she’s sooo cute but I’m too shy to talk to her." How adorable!!) It wasn't until about 2015 that we actually started hanging out and became the best of friends. We spent about four years in the friend zone and then officially started dating in 2018! We both knew right away that it was the REAL deal. Poor Jackson asked my Dad If he could marry me before Christmas, but didn’t get the chance to propose until the end of February!! On February long weekend, we went snowboarding in the mountains and on our last day on the hill and our last run of the day, Jackson finally was like now or never. He proposed at the very top of the hill before we headed down. Best day ever." Jackson + Vanessa's wedding was simply gorgeous. They initially wanted to elope, though they wanted their immediate family there - so they instead planned a small, intimate wedding. They got married at a childhood picnic spot of Vanessa's family. It was a bit difficult to get to, but with only 30 or so guests, they made it happen. They focused on planning what was really important to them as a couple, and said a big, "heck no" to any other unnecessary traditions. July 15, 2020 was a perfect celebration of them.
