I can't say enough good things about Hope and Kolby and their wedding. It was such a ridiculously fun day to be a part of, and truly an honor for me to be able to tell their story.
These two are high school sweethearts that made it through attending different colleges on opposite sides of South Dakota before moving in together in Sioux Falls. They're both from Rapid City originally, so it made sense for them to have their wedding in the Black Hills. They picked one of my favorite venues to film at, Besler's Cadillac Ranch, and despite it being a little on the hotter side (poor Kolby lost probably 8 lbs. of water weight just sweating), it was a picture-perfect day!
Kolby and Hope were so much fun to hang out with, and they were hilarious to boot. Both of their personal vows were full of jokes, sweet, and showed how much they truly cared for each other.
Hope's father has unfortunately passed, but there were tributes to him everywhere throughout the wedding day. Hope and her mother danced while a slideshow featuring photos of him played in the background, and they also played some old home video clips, some of which Hope was kind enough to share with me to use in their wedding film.
Their wedding film is one of my personal favorites, and getting to know this amazing couple was such a privilege.
