Wedding Date on Jul 1, 2017

We met freshman year at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor in the fall of 2005. We became good friends and spent time at our favorite bar, Scorekeepers, tailgating for football games, and studying in the library together throughout college. After graduation Hiro moved to Charlotte for a year and then to New York and Carla moved to Chicago. We remained friends and continued to visit each other and eventually it turned into dating. After doing long distance for a couple years, Carla moved to New York. On February 6, 2016 Hiro proposed in Washington Square Park, catching Carla completely by surprise. We wanted to get married in New England, where Carla is from, and wanted an outdoor venue where all of our guests could stay for the weekend. We had the best day of our lives getting married at the Mountain Top Inn in Vermont on July 1, 2017!
