This beautiful destination wedding celebration of "The Perfect Dress Bridal Film" is breathtaking!! Tucked away on its own private section in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee - Parkside's Resort Sky View Pavilion is perfect for the couple dreaming of a more "intimate" wedding.
We met in college at Huntingdon in Montgomery, I was a freshman & he was a senior. I played golf and he played baseball for his dad, the head coach. He was in my very first college and I was assigned to him in a group but he actually left before I could meet him so I already didn’t like him but My friends, his friends and I went to a biscuits baseball game one night & he caught a baseball and handed it to me! I was not interested in him but he kept pursuing me and with lots of charm the rest is history!
He proposed underneath a lightly hiked waterfall in Gatlinburg, TN with our dog
Our story is unique because after my freshman year I transfer to Radford, Va to play D1 golf & he graduated so we did three years of long distance. He was actually not suppose to be a senior when I met him, he should have graduated but he had a near death experience that held him back one year and then we met. Our wedding was unique because we had already eloped back in March due to a severe illness he contracted & we picked a venue that was half way between our parents. It was in the same town that he proposed in; previously we went to gatlinburg every year while we were dating. His paternal grandparents own a floral shop in Sylacauga, Al called Earlyns flower shop and they did all of our flowers for the wedding! We have a blue heeler named “Jolene Parton” & we had a small statue of her on our cake posed as if she was eating the cake; we love Dolly Parton & invited her to the wedding but she was too busy to make it! lol
