We knew we were going to love working with Grace and Miles from the very beginning. During our initial meet-and-greet phone call, we discovered that we all lived and worked in the Washington, D.C. area before venturing out west to Colorado; we enjoyed playing obscure card and board games with our friends on Friday nights; and both of our *dogs had recently ingested foreign bodies (theirs: chew toys, ours: sticks). *Both pups recovered just fine! All in all, it was an easy decision to book with such a kind, hilarious, fun-loving couple. Aside from the connections we shared with them, Grace and Miles will always hold a special place in our minds for many wedding day-related reasons. They played rochambeau before exchanging their vows, they had a snowball fight with their wedding party mid photo session, they performed a surprise choreographed dance for their guests, Grace sang and played the ukulele as a gift for Miles, and lastly... during their reception, they received the news that every single Colorado ski resort closed their doors in response to COVID-19. The pandemic took on a different meaning for everyone that night and not just because G+M had to forgo their honeymoon ski trip. To avoid ending their story on a sour note, I'll simply reiterate how fantastic Grace and Miles were (and are).
