Grace and Gavin had the most quintessential, epic NYC wedding, with a church ceremony at St Patrick’s Cathedral, photos in Central Park, and reception at New York Athletic Club. Grace and Gavin met and fell in love in New York City so it was important to them to highlight how special of a place NYC holds in their heart, especially with so many friends and family gathering from out-of-state for their wedding. The girls got ready in the bridal suite at New York Athletic Club, periodically popping out onto the iconic balcony overlooking Central Park. Meanwhile, the guys got ready in the Billiards Room at NYAC before everyone headed over to St. Patrick’s Cathedral for Grace & Gavin’s wedding ceremony. Not only is St Patrick’s Cathedral one of the most renowned historical churches in New York City, it also holds sentimental value for Grace, so it was the perfect setting for their wedding ceremony. After taking some photos on the beautiful front steps of St Pat’s (a cathedral veil at the most epic NYC cathedral – does it get more beautiful than that? 😍), we headed over to Central Park for some more portraits before the reception. With the view of the Central Park and the New York City skyline outside every window, the NYAC ballroom (beautified by Fleurissimo’s stunning floral designs) was the perfect setting for Grace and Gavin’s reception. Friends and family gathered in the ballroom at the New York Athletic Club to cheer on and celebrate the newlyweds. Big Ric Rising BVTLive entertained guests all night long with music and live entertainment – it was truly a blast and a night to remember! And a huge thank you to Sabrina of Eventful Days for making the entire day go off without a hitch (even despite NYC traffic and a forecast threatening rain). It truly was the perfect, quintessential NYC wedding day!
