THE TIME WE CHOOSE is a wedding film built around one central idea: time. Its emotional and sonic architecture was conceived before filming through words, music, sound, rhythm and silence. The real wedding day was then allowed to enter that structure naturally, without recreating moments or altering their chronology. Giuseppe and Carla’s story unfolds together with their child, transforming ordinary gestures, waiting, preparation and presence into a reflection on what we choose to carry with us as time passes. The film was completed while the event itself was still unfolding and projected before the day had ended.
