From the bride: Spence and I met on Nantucket walking down the street on the night of July 4th 2012. Spence was walking behind a friend and I and decided to say hello. My friend and I were on vacation and ended up spending the remainder of the week on the beach with Spence and his friends. Spence lived on Nantucket year round and I lived in Boston where I managed the State Room for Longwood Events. Spence invited me back the next weekend and the rest is history! I moved to Nantucket a few years later where we lived year round for three years. Spence is from Keene NH and my family has always had a lake house on Pawtuckaway Lake in Nottingham New Hampshire. Spence and I love the outdoors and spending time at the lake over the last five years has been one of our favorite past times. When we were deciding where to get married, since I had been in the wedding industry for so long I couldn't imagine getting married in a venue. The lake was a simple choice! The lake holds a special place in the Cusano families heart, Gina's parents actually met at the lake 37 years ago and are happily married to this day! Gina's Grandparents who were married over 50 years raised 5 kids there and their ashes are buried under the Japanese maple. To say the lake is a magical place is an understatement. The day was perfect, a bald eagle was flying over head as the sun shined down on our ceremony that was on our dock. We had an amazing day! Pat from Path Wedding Films was amazing and I highly recommend him!
