Wedding Date on Nov 3, 2017

Geoff and I first met in High School through mutual friends however, we never talked or hung out together. He used to bother my best friend all the time in their science class asking about me! A few years later in college Geoff asked that same friend for my cell phone number. She told me and I was eagerly waiting for him to text me.... he never did. So I messaged him on Instagram (which was apparently his plan all along). We texted back and forth but I didn't think much of it considering he was away at school almost two hours away. So eventually we stopped texting but he did still end up telling me Happy Birthday a few months later and I never replied! 6 months later as I was trying to filter through old text messages, I came across his text and felt pretty terrible so I decided to text him back and apologize for never replying. That apology text was the beginning of a very long overdue relationship! We dated while he finished college and soon after he proposed. Our wedding was beautiful and everything I had ever dreamed. My sister and brother in law own the most beautiful barn venue and my sister planned everything in less than 3 months! The most important thing to me was making sure all the raw, emotional feelings of love and joy between the two of us was captured through the night. To future brides & grooms I would definitely say the best advice I can give is to remember that at the end of the day nothing matters besides the commitment you are making in front of your closest friends and family to love your spouse unconditionally for the rest of your lives.
