Gurney’s Montauk Resort & Seawater spot has been a Long Island icon for nearly 100 years. The property first started off as a twenty room hotel called Gurney’s Inn in 1926. Although the resort has went through various renovations, the historic events and stunning views still make Gurney’s one of the most desirable venues in the Hamptons. President Richard Nixon wrote his acceptance speech at Gurney’s. Celebrities like Beyonce, Steven Spielberg, and Robert de Niro have all been known to converge there. Besides the long stretch of ocean, Gurney’s has great spots for weddings. The top deck views are unparalleled looking over the Atlantic Ocean. Their spa deck can be used for tented ceremonies, cocktail party’s or receptions. Gabrielle and Matthew used all of the amenities Gurney’s had to offer. Both decks were used for the hosting ceremony and reception. Gurney’s lounge and bridal suites were also part of this couples day. Our team had a blast exploring this resort with this amazing couple while showcasing their love story. Montauk itself is an amazing town at the end of Long Island. The town was originated during the 17th century. Montauk Point Lighthouse is the last point of land before you must travel by boat.
