Love at first swipe (or something like it.) Right: It's been that way from the very start. One of the great mysteries of Chelsea and Evan's relationship will always be who made the first move, but what they know for certain is that the move was in the same direction-- the right one. After spotting each other's profiles on Tinder (no shame in this game) and making that fateful right swipe, Chelsea and Evan exchanged casual conversation about the strange meals bachelors eat (mostly cereal-based creations) and their mutual love of dogs before exchanging phone numbers and then agreeing to their first date-- a Sunday brunch. Take it from Chelsea, those bottomless mimosas mean business. After dropping Chelsea off at her house, Evan played it super cool by calling her that same night to ask for another date for the next evening. They split a popcorn, discovered that Jurassic World is, in fact, a comedy and the rest, as they say, is history. Nearly three years and three apartments for Chelsea later (ask Evan his opinion volunteering to help a girl you just met move in the middle of a Kentucky July), C + E have officially became a “we.” They got married. After their first destination wedding in 2016, they almost immediately decided it was the plan for them-- and they weren't even engaged yet. They instantly fell in love with the joyful, relaxed vibe of Mexico and Chelsea, a self-proclaimed language nerd, had almost as much fun brushing up on her Spanish with taxi drivers as she did eating tacos. Almost. Pair those tacos with the unbelievably blue Caribbean Sea, some of friendliest people you're ever likely to meet and you've got their idea of paradise. Their hope was for their guests to experience this paradise for themselves during their November nuptial week.
