Emma & Adam. Where do I start. A couple of the most infectious, down to earth, all including, loving people you'll ever meet. They've lived a full life already, both before they first met and together over the past 9 years. But something tells me they are only just getting started. Adventures been and adventures to come, they are in the thick of one right now. The story how they've taken over a run down caravan park right before a pandemic and turned it into a camping and animal paradise.
Kookaburra park was the stage to bring both families together to celebrate one of the best love stories in history. It's a story of struggles, a story of heartache but most of all a story of love.
It's actually a funny story of serendipity between Emma, Adam & myself. It was April 2020 and the nation was deep in lockdown. With the majority of my weddings postponed for the year I took my focus to diversify my business and get back to the commercial work I've done in the past. I have a passion for small business, creating films and telling stories. So my aim was to find some interesting small businesses, that are also struggling through the lockdown to create some marketing content and films for them to promote their business during these tough times. I heard of this place called Kookaburra Park and how it had new owners. It offered camping and they had pigs. This was a massive tick for me and my family! So I jumped on my email to pitch the idea to Emma & Adam to hopefully create them a film to promote their recent business endeavour. Well as luck would have it before I could send my email, I received an email from Emma first. They were recently engaged and on the lookout for a videographer to film their wedding. Get the F@#k out of here. Call it destiny, call it what you will, the universe sure has funny ways to bring people together.
So join me to watch a couple that can only be described as fiction. Let us celebrate MR & MRS Dickson.
