Wedding Date on Nov 19, 2016

From The Bride: My husband and I met in Baton Rouge while attending LSU. We actually were paired together as lab partners during my freshman and his sophomore year. It started out as a friendship although we both knew it was something much more special from the very start. Fast forward 2 years and we get engaged. Nicholas brought me to my neighborhood lake I grew up playing at. He had a professional photographer and all of my family witnessing the whole thing. It was absolutely perfect! After he got down on one knee my and his whole family came walking out behind a fence and later he had a party planned with our closest friends at my favorite restaurant. We (or really I) planned the wedding for the next 18 months while Nicholas moved 10 hours away to Northwest Arkansas. I put an incredible amount of detail and care into every aspect of our wedding. Most of the decorations I made myself with the help of Pinterest and the vision in my head. I wanted our wedding to be rustic, but not in a barn, Whimsical, but not enchanted fairytale, and traditional, but completely outside. My biggest goal while planning was to put our hearts into every detail so people attending could feel the love and joy we have for each other. I would say the day came together better than I even envisioned. It was the perfect mix of whimsey, tradition, and our twist on rustic eclectic. It truly was the best day ever and every bit of us I could imagine shined through. Nicholas and I have been saying "To the Moon and Back" for years and it was a huge aspect of our wedding. From our vows we wrote each other, the cake topper, and our first dance song, it was the one thing to tie it all together. I remember thinking at one point as we were getting down on the dance floor with every single one of our loved ones under the stars that we truly are having the best night of our lives to the moon and back.
