Wedding Date on Sep 22, 2022

Emily and Joseph were married at Medina’s Watering Hole in Lakeport, California on a day in late September with crystal clear blue skies. The venue had lots of character, with a ranch theme, and many interesting decorations. Emily and Joe had clearly poured their hearts into planning this celebration of their love, and were surrounded by dear friends and family. One unique thing that I got to see for the first time was a butterfly release: each guest was given a folded piece of paper inside which a live butterfly was safely stored, and when they unfolded the papers together, the butterflies fluttered into the air in unison. They also chose this very special date for their wedding: it was their ten year anniversary of being a couple! Emily and Joseph’s deep love was clear to me, and it was a joy and privilege to be part of capturing this special day for them to remember for years to come.
