Chase and Emily’s story is one of persistent love, their coming together is a testimony to that. After many years of interest and little attempts at communication, they finally exchanged numbers. Prior to their courtship, they were really good friends. They learned about each other through question games and long conversations while Chase was deployed in Afghanistan. Through the trials of life, they both went on painful, uncommon, difficult journeys that made them grow up faster and gifted them with appreciation and perspective. With the depth and richness of their friendship, how they were able to be a light through each other’s journey, and how they learned to understand what each other’s needs and wants are, they quickly knew it was right to be together.
When I asked Emily why they wanted to get married she said “We both undeniably knew that we were made for each other and couldn’t live without each other. After returning home from deployment Chase was driving home from Fort Bragg every weekend and on the few that he didn’t that year.. I was driving up there. We were spending almost all of our time together even though we were living 6 hours apart. Our love grew quickly and we knew we wanted to be together forever. We were really passionate about starting our life together and growing our family.”
