Wedding Date on Feb 17, 2018

Elizabeth was getting her MBA and was forced to take an entrepreneurship course. :) -- On the first night of class Dr. Jeff Cornwall reviewed the syllabus and described the guest speakers that would be "judging" our final projects. One of those entrepreneurs was responsible for building a company founded on scheduling ER visits. Yup, doesn't make sense right? Who schedules an EMERGENCY? Believe us, Elizabeth was truly appalled (especially given the fact her career was dedicated to healthcare and ensuring patients receive the right level of care at the right time in a large academic medical center). After a few excruciating weeks of developing a business plan, it was the final night of class. We were essentially mimicking "Shark Tank" and Michael was one of the sharks, ie potential investor. Elizabeth's team won (duh!), class was over, and everyone exchanged business cards. A couple of days later Michael reached out to Elizabeth on LinkedIn and asked for some time "to talk shop". Seriously, he was genuinely interested in her professional perspective; the fact she was cute was a bonus. The meeting was scheduled and Elizabeth really didn't think much of it. Just another business meeting, right? It was after 5PM, so she already had her hair in a pony tail and any hint of make up was long gone after 10+ hours at the hospital. Also, important to note, she chose to wear the ugliest pant suit she owns. The elevators open and suddenly she realizes Mr. Brody-Waite was way cuter than she remembered. Whoops. The meeting included one of his team members, but after about an hour she was long gone. That just left Elizabeth and Michael to spend at least another hour immersed in conversation. Well, there are a lot of details in between that meeting and where we are today, but to sum things up... It look about 9 months for Michael to ask Elizabeth out on a date, but ever since that beautiful afternoon the two of them have experienced love in a whole new way. Love that is undeniable, unbreakable, and unbelievable. Our wish is that all of you find your love....and hopefully you don't spend $50K to find it. ;)
