Wedding Date on Aug 15, 2020

Drew was moved to Tallahassee Florida for his first Hershey position. Katlynn and Drew matched as people you may know online and started talking. She was finishing pharmacy school in Tallahassee and a manager at outback at the time. She didn't want to meet him alone so she asked some friends to join her at a bar across the road. It was October 30th which for Hershey is a huge deal, he had been pulling really long days. He set his alarm for 10 am instead of pm and slept right through meeting her. She was of course shocked but had recently gotten out of a long relationship and decided to get over it. She received a long text message from Drew apologizing and asking if she would consider trying again. She decided to, They met at Carrabas on Oct 31st, he had a glass of wine waiting which looking back she says she probably shouldn't have taken that haha! Conversation flowed so easily and their family dynamics were so similar. Both their mothers and siblings were diagnosed with bipolar, they talked about their childhoods and managing those tricky relationships. He was so calm and collected and Katlynn was just as chatty and energetic as could be they really felt it was the perfect balance. She brought him to a Halloween party that night with her friends and they just never really slowed down after that. His next Hershey position brought them to Minneapolis, She had just finished Pharmacy residency and had a good job offer in Tallahassee. She didn't want to leave and without a commitment from Drew she was honestly nervous. She took the leap of faith and the weekend before the big move Drew set up his proposal in Charleston South Carolina, where her girl friends brought me as a one last hurrah. They had to postpoine their original wedding date due to the pandemic but that didn't stop them from finally tying the knot at the most beautiful mountain getaway with all of their family and friends.
