From the bride: "So Drew and I met at a bar on bourbon street on New Year’s Eve... true story!! All of my close college friends were his middle school friends that he grew up with. So our worlds collided and we have had a blast together since then. We got engaged in 2019, and had to postpone our wedding when I became extremely sick at the end of that year. I went to the Mayo Clinic in Feb 2020 and still didn’t have answers, and we ultimately decided to postpone the wedding until I was healthy (was supposed to be April 2020). Then Covid became a thing and we felt total peace about the decision we had made beforehand. We went through hell and back to be quite honest, but our love grew so so so much deeper in the past year and a half we have been engaged. Now that I’m feeling healthy again, we are just so giddy to finally make this thing official!" From the filmmaker: "On wedding days, I'm always making mental notes about the couple, their story, and how I can tell it in a way that honors them and their personalities. As soon as Drew and Christina shared their personal vows, I knew that it was going to shape the entire wedding story. These two had a long term, long distance relationship that included a long health journey for Christina that deepened their love for each other, and ultimately their faith in God. This day was a small glimpse of his faithfulness in their lives. I wanted their video to reflect that story - sentimental, meaningful, focused on the Lord, and ultimately ending in celebration.
