Wedding Date on Sep 12, 2020

After graduation, Mitch moved from the mid-west to Boston to start his career. Mitch's roommate, David, introduced Mitch to some of his co-workers. That's when he met Deirdre! It was 2013 and the Bruins had just lost to the Blackhawks in the Stanley Cup Finals. Because Mitch was a Blackhawks fan and Deirdre was a Bruins fan, they grew close through their friendly sports banter and eventually went on their first date to a Bruins game. 2,499 days after that Bruin's game, they got married in the most untraditional and unique way possible- On an oyster float on Duxbury Bay in the middle of a pandemic. Mitch's roommate, David, who had introduced them, officiated the wedding. After the ceremony, they had the best evening enjoying freshly shucked oysters, champagne, and New England lobster rolls. They danced and celebrated and were met with the most gorgeous pink and purple sunset to end their perfect day.
