Our love story began on June 17, 2013 was the day we met and the chemistry felt from that day on was so powerful that it still remains today. We met surrounding recovery both from our own past addictions and through this journey over the years so many blessings have come and we have grown so close as a result through learning our differences, overcoming adversity and becoming strong in our faith and love for one another. The day Steven surprised me with his proposal I will never forget. It was June 26, 2017 the day we bought our first home, we walked in our empty living room hugging filled with so much emotion and the suddenly he drops to one knee. I immediately became overwhelmed with tears of joy that I don't remember what he said and our oldest son began crying thinking something was wrong. Within our years together prior to our marriage we became the proud parents to 2 beautiful little boys ages 4 years old and 9 months old. Our wedding day was filled with so much love, family and friends. The wedding took place on a family friend's private property on 8 acres in Erath, Louisiana on the bayou under beautiful oak trees. What was special about this was that we were able to create our space unique to us with our love the outdoors. A few special moments of our wedding was that the man that married us was also our couples and premarital counselor over the years and has been apart of our lives from the beginning, secondly writing our own vows and lastly a special surprise wedding gift that was a secret for my husband Steven that was dear to my heart was a wedding video of his grandparents who were both 92 years old, who we were both extremely close to whom both passed away March of 2018, 1 week apart from each other, telling my husband happy birthday and giving us wedding advice and well wishes followed by his family praying over us at the end of the night after our reception. Thank you to Chase & Kylie Guidroz with Fleaux Media for capturing our love story so beautifully!
