Wedding Date on Jul 1, 2018

My husband and I met online on the Tango app in 2013. He is from Lagos Nigeria and I’m from Detroit Michigan. In feb 2018 he came to the country to be with me. On April 27 2018 he officially proposed. We always knew we would get married but I told him I’d still expect a proper proposal. He didn’t have to ask for my hand from my father, my father had given him the blessing before he even asked! {God} we got married on July 1 2018 and we just celebrated our 2 year wedding anniversary. I planned our wedding in 3 months!!! He picked out his suit in 2015 and I also picked my dress in 2015 as well. We were able to get our exact outfits we wanted. He proposed to me at my job at the time. We were still waiting on his official green card paper work to get him eligible to work or even get an ID. I worked 30 mins away from where we were living at the time. This man managed to buy my ring, my favorite flowers and get up to my job without nothing. I would give him money but it would just be pocket change. He really surprised me. The person recording our proposal is a close friend that helped him get to me. All our professional photos that we had taken by our photographer some how got lost or messed up in translation and we never got to see them or receive them. But this video of his sweet proposal is everything to me. Our love story is like not many other. 2 totally different backgrounds and worlds and yet our souls were still destined.
