Wedding Date on Apr 28, 2018

On the surface, a girl from Boston, a guy from Bombay. One who loves to get up at dawn do yoga and go for long runs, and the other who is kind of like more the rest of us... As Cristina's little brother Kevin told us, she always worked so hard towards her present and her future that he followed her steps and insisted on keeping up with his big sister. He followed her to George Washington University and was able to witness her growth up close, watching her succeed and go right to the top at every company she walked in. Of course, she wasn't over with her career progress and when she went to Harvard Business School, that's when she met Varun. Shortly after both started "studying" at business school, Cristina invited Kevin to have some drinks with her new group of friends, and it was obvious for him that there was something going on between them... Cristina often tried to digress from that conversation, but it was obvious she felt something... Apart from him being incredibly handsome and a force on the dance floor, she knew that what she was feeling was much more than an attraction. She still couldn't figure out why she gravitated towards Varun so strongly... Early in his HBS days, as Varun honestly talked with his close friends about the mixed signals that a girl called Cristina was giving him, they quickly advised him to enjoy the HBS experience, a lot of squirrels in the quad, etc. But when Varun really, really wants something, he always finds a way to make things happen for himself. So, when eventually he decided she was the only girl he wanted to date, everyone quickly realized how special Cristina was to him. It wasn't until he left for India that special winter, that she admitted to herself what that feeling really was. According to Varun's mother, he always was a bit of a procrastinator and the only time he has not procrastinated was when he made the best decision of his life... Proposing to Cristina. Fast forward to April 28th, 2018, and they gathered a group of around 120 people to celebrate their union in a beautiful palace, in Portugal. Everyone in this group matters to them, and all of them have an understanding of whom Varun and Cristina really are as human beings. A lot of heartfelt, funny and inspiring speeches turned this video into a good compilation of impactful life lessons for all of us.
