Wedding Date on Aug 3, 2019

Our story began three years ago when we "matched" on Tinder, like any good millennial couple. We immediately started chatting and quickly realized how much we had in common! Our first date was at Ted's Bulletin, which has now become a favorite of ours. We've had so many fun adventures over the years, like our vacation to Cancun, multiple trips to Las Vegas, celebrating new jobs and promotions, walking on Worsham Field at Lane Stadium and running through the football tunnel, moving to our first home together, and spending time with both of our families. Mike proposed on November 30, 2018 at Meadowlark Garden's Winter Walk of Lights, our annual holiday tradition. It was a complete surprise! We are still amazed how we could grow up 10 miles apart, go to the same college (Go Hokies!), graduate from the same business school with literally a row between us, and never knew each other. We are excited for what the future holds for us as Mr. and Mrs. Messick!
