Wedding Date on Feb 9, 2024

Corbin & Carousel planned a beautiful and super fun day in the Badlands and Sylvan lake in Custer State Park. We surprisingly had a pretty warm mid 50's day in the middle of February! We started off the day with the two of them getting ready at their apartment in Rapid City before heading out to the Badlands. Along the drive they shared some of their story and how they met last summer at Summer nights. We went on a super fun hike in the Badlands (Notch trail) and then did a foot washing ceremony that was very meaningful to the two of them. For lunch, Corbin and Carousel wanted to go to their favorite restaurant, Texas Road House! It was so fun to see everyone's excitement of a wedding couple there on their wedding day! The staff even let them sit on the saddle and gave them a big "yee haw!" In the late afternoon we headed up to Sylvan Lake where they had chosen to do their personal vows for each other as well as Corbin's special surprise for Carousel - her favorite, a bundt cake from Nothing Bundt Cakes! We finished the evening off in downtown Rapid City on the corner where they first saw each other at Summer Nights. Speaking of Summer Nights, Corbin and Carousel really wanted that to be apart of their film, so we planned a day in June when we could do their adventure session at Summer Nights where they first really hit it off!
