Colin and I met in college in a bar, where else? We weren't really looking for love when we met but God's plans were different. Colin was focused on his football career and I was focused on my dance team and my grades. But when we met, we clicked instantly. I wasn't a believer in Love at first sight but I knew there was something special about him from the beginning.Clearly he felt the same way about me because a year later we were engaged and married less than 8 months after that! I can't imagine living one day without him in my life. His extended family is from Chicago and mine is from Kentucky. We wanted to be married in Louisville and we wanted to give our families a glimpse into our lives and favorite things. Our ceremony was in my hometown Catholic Church and was more beautiful than I ever could have imagined. We had a happy hour for our guests at the local brewery inside the baseball stadium and finished the festivities with a reception at The Ice House in Louisville. The venue was everything we could have asked for with an elegant industrial feel. Needless to say, our guests had the time of their lives which is everything we could have asked for.Our food was a selection of southern delights staring the famous Kentucky Hot Brown. Our flowers were a beautiful lavender color chosen by the groom himself! But the most important aspect of the celebration was the dancing! I was a dancer all through college and most of my guests were dancers as well. Colin's football friends also didn't shy away from the dance floor, especially with the Kentucky Bourbon encouraging them! We had all ages on the dance floor enjoying every moment! We couldn't have asked for a a better venue for our celebration or a better videographer. Tanner is one of Colin's friends and he does video for Louisville's sports teams! We knew how talented he was at capturing the excitement on a football field and he proved he is just as talented on a dance floor!
