Wedding Date on Nov 12, 2022

We met on Bumble in September 2020, when Christina moved home with her parents during the pandemic and Juan Manuel was at Notre Dame getting his MBA. Interestingly enough, we both graduated from Notre Dame & Saint Mary's in 2014, had mutual friends, lived in the same apartment complex down the street from one another, and didn't cross paths until 2020. We also both lived in Chicago and overlapped a few months. We joke about how we were always close by but it took a global pandemic for us to meet - as Rihanna so eloquently once said, we found love in a hopeless place, during a hopeless time. Christina and Juan Manuel got married at the famed Basilica of the Sacred Heart at Notre Dame University. Their officiant who knew them well orchestrated a beautiful ceremony before they headed off to their amazing reception at Notre Dame Stadium overlooking the football field. Their head table hosted all of the bridal party and was adorned with a giant image of the Virgin Mary behind it. They danced pretty hard and had an unexpected hora.
