Wedding Date on Aug 4, 2018

Eric and Christina were first introduced at the Baseball Tavern near Fenway Park when their friends all met up. But, the magic didn't happen until everyone went to get Chinese food at the Hong Kong Cafe (inside the Howard Johnson). The Hong Kong Cafe was closed, but they reopened and let us all in for food and drinks. A few crab rangoons and Mai Tais later, Eric slid his phone in front of Christina, and she replied that she didn't know how to use an iPhone ... She was actually serious, and Eric showed her what to do! Sadly, both of these places have since closed down (not surprised). Many Countryfests, Halloweens, fishing trips, vacations, and grad school classes have passed to lead us to August 23, 2017. Eric had been planning to propose when the two were on vacation for some time. He had the ring shipped to his now best man, Sanir, and didn't even tell him what was in the box until it arrived. After Christina ran in the Falmouth Road Race, she suggested that they travel to Provincetown for a day or two. The two made the trip up the cape, and went to a few beaches and vineyards along the way. All Eric could think about was someone breaking into his truck and taking the ring. After they ate dinner, Eric planned on finding a beach to walk on where he could propose. His idea didn't pan out, so he did it on a dock behind a hotel. It almost backfired, as Eric dropped the box onto the dock ... Even the audience yelling from the hotel got scared. All of this has led us to the big day!
