Christina and Elliott met through a mutual friend in June of 2008. Christina went to high school with this friend and then he joined the Navy, where he met Elliott. Christina got to know Elliott while visiting her friend in San Diego several times. They chatted over text and webcam long distance until one day when Elliott came to visit Christina in April of 2009, and they were dating ever since. The first four years of our relationship were long distance and Elliott went on two 6-8 month deployments in the Navy during that time. They got engaged on Christmas Eve in 2016.
