Wedding Date on Sep 17, 2022

Cheryl + Kyle were 3 lockers away from each other in school but didn’t officially meet until gym class their freshmen year of high school. They both knew there was a spark with each other but could never get the timing right to date! It wasn’t until they were 19 years old when Cheryl was about to leave for Arizona that Kyle told her he loved her and wanted to be with her! They said their first “I love you” to each other and decided they would try to make long distance work! Even though they were told the distance between Arizona and Chicago would be the breaking for their relationship, they took the leap of faith and dated long distance for 5 years! They shared with us the difficulties, sacrifices, and changes that had to happen in order to keep their relationship/communication strong. There were also many Skype calls, online movie dates, and airline miles! It wasn’t easy, but they knew they loved each other and wanted to make it work no matter what. When COVID 2020 hit, it made traveling impossible and their certainty that marriage was their next step together. Kyle proposed to Cheryl on Years Eve to kick off 2021 with the knowledge that they would be getting married in 2022! They described that the struggles they went through in the beginning of the relationship really shaped who they were and made being together feel so much more special! Now that they are married and living together, they try not to take any day for granted because they remember what it was like to be physically across the country. Having everyone they loved together in one place for their wedding was incredibly special to witness as their friends and family poured out their love and support onto Kyle and Cheryl for this special day! You could tell everyone had been rooting for these two finally tie the knot after years of waiting! From the beautiful views, happy tears, sentimental vows, to dancing the night away, Cheryl and Kyle’s wedding in September 2022 was an unforgettable day all around! We absolutely adore these two and their determination and loving hearts for each other. 🤍
