Wedding Date on Jun 16, 2023

Rory proposed at 8am over coffee on the Isle of Skye. We had hiked 20km the previous day and were spending two nights alone at the wee bothy at Loch Coruisk in the Cuillin Hills. On our final day we tried to hike out to Elgol, but the river to cross Loch Coruisk was so high we couldn't hike out! Totally soaked, we had to retreat back to the bothy for another night. Had to hang everything we owned (including sleeping bags) over the gas hobs to dry - while we sat completely naked playing cards and praying no one else joined us in the bothy, hahah. What a sight that would have been. But a massive adventure!
