This wedding was like a new kind of contemporary fairy tale. Everything was beyond perfect. It all started at casa Sol De Occidente, a gorgeous location at Careyes which basically is like a beachfront castle at the top of a mountain with breath-taking views of the ocean all around.
Weather was awesome, so we took the birds for a flight and, after landing, we had an amazing time getting ready with the closest friends and family of Chanel & Anthony. Girls were drinking mimosas and the boys mezcal. As the sun started to go down and after some wedding portraits, we moved to the next location of the day, Casa Tauro, another beachfront house but at sea level. This location had its own beach, where our friends of Conceptua Event Styling built the whole event.
It was like a 3 stage event. First it was a beautiful ceremony setup. I can surely say that this ceremony was above every other I had experienced before. Everything on it was unique and authentic: the music, the decoration, the people, the sunset, the vows and, of course, the great words of the shaman who officiated the wedding, who later became the narrator on this film.
After the ceremony ended, all guests moved to a cocktail setup where everybody started to warm up for the party that was ahead. Sun went completely down, so the lights and lazers went on until 4am, when then we moved back to Casa Sol De Occidente, where the after party started at 5am. We had intense wedding destination coverage, so we were exhausted and went to bed (not). Just kidding, we went to the after party just a little bit, but some say that the party continued for 24 hours or more.
