I then decided to go and get my Masters degree, so we did long distance for almost another year. Finally, after almost 4 years of dating we got to live in the same city together, and not long after Gabe proposed! He proposed to me at my family's lake house, and surprised me with four of my best friends there. We got to spend the whole weekend celebrating, and it was such a special weekend for the both of us!
