From Cait: "We are both pharmacists and currently co-own and operate a small group of independent pharmacies in rural Georgia. We met (in passing) at the local hospital near the towns where we both grew up. We later realized, while dating, that both of our mothers had been nurses at that hospital for over 20 years and never knew each other (until Naveed and I met of course). Naveed, a little older than me, was a neonatal intensive care (NICU) pharmacist and student preceptor at the time. He was on his way out of hospital employment at the time to start the businesses we currently operate. I, while not one of his students, shadowed Naveed one day in the NICU. I had accidentally left my school papers with him in the NICU area and had to come back to the hospital to retrieve them before I headed back to Ohio (where I would finish the rest of my pharmacy doctorate as well as the 3 years of 'long distance' Naveed and I completed while dating). Naveed had joked with me prior to my arrival to the NICU that in order to get my papers back I had to give him a million dollars. So… being the dork that I am… and just as a thank you for his taking the time to train me in the NICU… stopped to buy him a 100 Grand chocolate bar. Before I arrived to the NICU to give the candy to him, I wrote 'x10' on the wrapper to make the total '1 million dollars'. When I gave it to him (he later told me) that he was in love. Haha."
