With our spacious lawn that can accommodate a ceremony of any size, Goodwood's grounds provide a lovely backdrop for walking down the aisle and saying your vows. The Goodwood estate began in the 1830's as a cotton and corn plantation. By the early 20th century the property's agricultural emphasis had declined and the main house turned in to an elegant private residence. In 1990 the estate was bequeathed to a private not-for-profit foundation to preserve the property as a house museum and public park.
