Wedding Date on Feb 4, 2017

From The Bride: We quickly became good friends after we met the Summer of 2010 in Ann Arbor and realized our mutual love of Skeeps. Though Brett would soon be heading to NYC for grad school, we decided we would give it a try. Fast forward to 2014...we survived years of long distance, countless winter flight cancellations, lots and lots of trips, and even more lacrosse games. A move east [finally] brought Dakota to the Big Apple and we have been loving life in NYC ever since! *The addition of our minigoldendoodle Brooklyn Maize Summer 2015 is an absolute highlight! @brooklynmaize June 2015, Dakota brought an invitation home for an upcoming work event. This "charity event" just happened to be taking place at our favorite restaurant in Manhattan. With our cocktail attire on and drink tickets packed, we walked into Tao where it was soon obvious we were the only ones who got the invite. Dakota had planned the most perfect, surprise proposal--fake invitation, photographer and all! Things just kept getting better when our parents, siblings and best friends arrived to celebrate together. Unfortunately, our original, October 8, 2016, wedding was postponed because of Hurricane Matthew, and was later rescheduled for February 4th, 2017.
