Wedding Date on Feb 21, 2020

In October of 2018, after dating for about 10 months, Brenna took Joe on their first trip together to North Georgia with her family. This was a big step for Brenna, and they announced that they were going to build a home together at the start of the new year (2019). During that trip, Brenna & Joe stumbled on Whitewater Falls in Cashiers, NC. - the tallest waterfall east of the Mississippi. On top of that waterfall looking out to the beautiful scenery, they did not say a word...but Brenna & Joe looked at each other and they both knew. This was the start of something amazing. Flash forward about a year to August 25th, 2019. Returning to Georgia to visit Brenna's extended family (this time ,bringing their two kids along), Joe told Brenna he wanted to take Joseph, their 12-yr-old, to see the amazing Whitewater Falls gem that they stumbled on a year ago. Their daughter, Savannah, stayed with Grandma and Grandpa back at the house. Joseph was so excited to come with Brenna & Joe, and was GoPro filming the whole hike up. After making it to the top, Joe grabbed Brenna's hand and told her that he knew from the moment they met, it would be something special. And that he knew from the moment they made it to the top of that same waterfall the year prior, that he was going to propose at that very spot. All the while, Joseph had no idea that this was going to happen but he filmed the whole thing on his GoPro and genuinely had tears in his eyes afterwards. Joe got down on one knee and asked Brenna to be his wife, and of course she said yes.
