Breea + Cody are the extremely talented wedding videographers, photographers, educators, and all around creative geniuses behind Tell The Birds. They have this presence about them that makes them light up every room they walk into, making every person they meet fall in love with them and want to become their best friend. They met in a parking garage in the ward where they were both living at the time and hit it off. They became the best of friends while they stayed up way too late getting McDonalds ice cream and talking for hours about Coldplay music videos, Italy, and the importance of car organization. Those first three months of dating held so much adventure for the two of them. In three months they had driven to Arizona together, gone on a cruise to Honduras, Belize, and Mexico, and went on their first (of many more to come) Disneyland trip. Breea knew she was first falling in love with Cody when they went on a service trip to Africa together. She said that even though they had only been dating for six months, the trip showed her exactly who Cody was. They also endured so much together on that trip - bags getting stolen, bat attacks, human bites, crazy safaris, and countless amazing memories made - that showed just how much of a team they had really become. Things started getting really serious for them a few months later and Breea started feeling a lot of anxiety with those feelings. The future and big decisions were coming up in conversation and they, ultimately, decided to take a small break. In those days apart, Breea realized just how much she missed Cody and realized she wanted him in her life forever. Fast forward and Cody planned a sweet proposal that was filled with all of the sentimental details and surprises and puppies and string lights and love notes and pizza and FIREWORKS. It was a dream proposal and Breea, of course, said YES! But engagement season was a little difficult for the two of them and they have opened up about it a lot online with their subscribers. Their first few months of engagement were filled with anxieties and uncertainties that the two of them worked through together. They knew they loved one another, they knew they wanted to be together, and they received so much encouragement and advice along the way which made them even stronger and closer. Their wedding day in Gilbert, Arizona was a total dream and a beautiful peek into the love they have built together. Breea + Cody are hands down one of THE sweetest, coolest, talented, + most down to earth couples we’ve ever met! They served churros at their reception, they ran through the desert in their expensive wedding attire, they served wood-fired pizza instead of steak or chicken, they had an outdoor theatre showing all of their vlogs they have created together throughout their relationship, they found any chance they could to pop confetti, they shared a first dance together underneath string lights and surrounded by a circle of sparklers, they shared private vows to one another in the front yard of Breea's childhood home, + at the end of the night, through a tunnel of confetti + fireworks being let off in the distance, they exited their celebration in a perfect, vintage yellow Jeep. Their wedding was a DREAM in every single way, but I think the thing that stood out the most to us was how they made each other laugh allllll dayyy long. We cannot begin to stress the importance of marrying someone who can make you laugh so big even when you have cactus needles stuck in your feet. Our kind of people right here.
