A wedding in King’s Landing Two friends were forced to bring their respective younger relative at a birthday party. One of these younger relative was named Bev, and the other friend’s relative was named, Lawrence. This was the first encounter between Bev and Lawrence, at the tender age of 16…and the rest is history. A history no one believed in at first as everyone thought it would simply be a “puppy love”. However, they proved everyone wrong. And 12 years later, they got married in a city that inspired the very famous show “Game of Thrones”. Before getting married, the proposal was not a long quiet river. Lawrence popped the question in Prague, on the Charles Bridge. But asking for someone’s hand is never an easy and stress free task. Lawrence plucked up the courage to propose after going back and forth over the bridge THREE times. The pressure was just too strong. Added to this, Bev didn’t make it easier for Lawrence as she was showing her frustration for being late for their dinner reservation. She couldn’t understand the back and forth. Of course, Bev forgave him after he put one knee to the ground. And after a proposal in a city rich in history; the couple decided to tie the knot in another European historical city: Dubrovnik. Dubrovnik, or King’s Landing in Game of Throne, was one of the main shooting location and the aesthetic inspiration for the famous HBO TV show. What was very particular in Bev & Lawrence’s wedding is that every guests watched the show; except, of course, the couple itself. So when everyone were telling them about the “red wedding” or the “walk of shame”, they had no clue what it was all about. This wedding could have easily been a Game of Thrones fan’s dream wedding; however, for Bev & Lawrence it was not a fan’s dream…it was simply THEIR dream
