Wedding Date on Jun 11, 2022

I wanted to start this film focused on Annie +This Kevin's ceremony and make it super romantic and moody, and then I listened back to the reception speeches. And I realized how much more important it was that I give the front-row spotlight where this couple put it all day: respecting those who paved the way. This day, this wedding, was about so much more than just two people getting married. It was about both of their parents + how they fought to "make it" in a foreign country for their children... not speaking the language, working for minimum wage, and all for love. I loved weaving together this story through the officiant's dialogue during the actual ceremony and multiple speeches. My favorite intro to date :) Thank you, Kevin + Annie, for being so original and yourselves. Thank you for honoring your family's legacy. Your stories inspired me! Also.... I hereby declare that every couple from here on out should rent a mansion at the Reunion Resort... the 15-bedroom house sure made these two shineeeee and my job was easier than ever before ;)
