Wedding Date on Aug 19, 2016

From The Bride: We were the very last two people to admit we were in love. We were told we were by our co-workers, friends, and  our family while we just sat in denial. "We're just friends," was the reoccurring statement that we made on a regular basis. And we really were JUST friends. But we were the best of friends. We had known each other for almost a year before we really started becoming inseparable. It was about a year and a half progression of friendship, honesty, and a lot of chemistry. It was like climbing a very tall mountain and by the time we reached the top we both just fell. And we fell hard. After months of denying we were anything I wanted to take back every denial I had made. This man was mine and he was mine for good. It didn't take long for us to realize this was it. We "officially" dated for about 4 months before Anthony popped the question....and my response was "duh." It was just a no brainer type of answer for me. When it came time to plan our wedding, there was a lot that I honestly just didn't care about. I just knew I wanted to marry him. I got hooked up with The Silos and we did an all inclusive wedding option. They picked my vendors for everything besides photography and videography and the planning process was extremely simple, which was perfect for me. My main concern was romance. I just wanted the atmosphere, the music, and the moments to be romantic. And let me tell you, it was just that. The only wedding details that were on my mind was the music, my dress, the vibe of the wedding, and him seeing me come down the aisle. I wanted that moment to be perfect. That was the only thing Anthony talked about and it was the only request he had when it came to our wedding. He was adamant about not seeing me "until those doors open up." So of course, that was pretty much my only focus. And I'm glad it was because that is the most memorable part of our wedding, along with saying our vows. I hardly remember what the tables looked like, I don't fully remember our menu...expect there was a lot of bacon wrapped things...because I love bacon. I don't know what our cake tasted like, the seating arrangements, the center pieces, the outside seating area? I look back at my pictures and think "dang I had a gorgeous wedding!" In pictures is when I noticed most of the details that can stress a lot of brides out, but in those moments, I was just in the moment. Betwixt Magnolias did our videography and Taylor Howard did our photography, both of which was amazing! I am beyond ecstatic to be able to watch this day whenever I want to. My husband's reaction was one I can always see over and over again. It's funny to think back at how these moments took place in my mind. The doors opened and I tried to take off on a 100m yard dash to the end of the aisle. My dad kept holding my arm saying "slow down sis, slow down." Anthony kept mouthing I was beautiful and I kept mouthing he was handsome and I thought it took 2 years to get to him. Our officiator had to tell us to get it together by the time I got to the end of the aisle. It was most likely a 60 sec moment that feels like a year of emotions dissected in my memory. This day was so special for both of us and The Silos made it such a wonderful, easy, stress free day. We are so in love with the memories of our wedding day and wouldn't trade a moment of it for the world!
