Wedding Date on Aug 25, 2018

Our love story was everything a girl could ever wish for! I started an internship at the place he worked, and after one smile, I was hooked. I was finishing my last year of college in Detroit, MI and was looking to start my career in the business world. Now let me tell you, I was not looking for love but once I found him, my world changed for the better. It took two months for me to even get the courage to say a sentence to him. To my surprise, he was feeling the same way I was! The first day we spoke, he asked me out on a date for the very next day. We went for a walk by the river in Detroit, and we talked and talked and talked. Never did I feel the butterflies like I did on this day. Later that week he asked me out to dinner, and kissed me goodbye. The most perfect, wonderful kissed I ever felt. It only took him one week to "officially" ask me to be his girlfriend. After only six months of dating, and madly falling in love with each other, my now husband got done on one knee at the very spot of our first day and asked me to spend the rest of my life with him in front of both of our families! About a year later is when we finally got to say our "I do's!" It was the most perfect day any one could ever wish for. 600 of our closest friends and families would join us as we confessed our love to each other. We are both Chaldean, so our wedding was pretty traditional! We got married in our Chaldean Catholic Church and our reception was led with our Chaldean music and dances! It was filled with love, laughter, and happiness! We had so many flowers, and lights, and even sparklers to light up the dance floor! Our guests had fun with a photo booth, live band, and even Dairy Queen blizzards to end the night! Never did I imagine that I would get to live in a real life fairy tale, but I wouldn't change anything for the world. The best part about it all? I get to fall more in love with my husband each and every day we have been together!
