Amy and Steve had their week-long destination wedding at The Black Stallion mansion in the North Carolina Outer Banks with about 75 closest friends and family. They held their ceremony oceanside on Albacore Beach outlet just a couple miles away. Amy and Steve are an excellence driven power couple who both own their own businesses and were active in their community. Amy owned a wedding and event rental company, and Steve owns a custom home design company based out of Charlotte. Together, they planned a week full of love and intention, focused on family, fellowship, and faith, and everyone was involved and welcomed like family. Both the I Do OBX Wedding Company and Southern Hospitality OBX created and designed a masterful outdoor, pool party, dance floor reception, as well as an intimate indoor dinner reception, a cocktail lounge, and of course the bohemian pampas grass framed ceremony.
.
During the week, activities included pool parties, cookouts, cornhole, outings, early morning/late night piano musicals, a dunes golden hour session, a Bachelor and Bachelorette party, beach rehearsal followed by a dinner. Wedding day vibes consisted of bridal suite preparation, a trolley transportation, pampas and tropical floral, bohemian styled rugs, a 360 photobooth, sunset sessions, candle lit fireplace, stringed lights over a pool-top dance floor, DJ and live drummer, late night Duck Donuts, emotive vows, and an incredibly thought-out song list and worship music that tells their story.
