Every time we’re out in the wilderness of Scotland, we think about how lucky and blessed we are to live in such beautiful part of the planet. Being surrounded by mountains, lochs and rolling Scottish landscapes means endless places to explore and recommend when our couples ask us about spots for getaways, intimate weddings and elopements. Amongst these places, there’s one place that is dear to our hearts and that is the Isle of Skye. This is an island on the West Coast of Scotland with infinite beauty! It’s a dream location for couples that are all about simplicity, romance and tranquility... Isle of Skye will instantly make you fall in love with it the moment you step your foot on the island. Think of the dreamiest, moodiest place with rocky mountains, tumbling waterfalls, jaw-dropping views and sooo much more - that is the Isle of Skye, and it’s true that they say this island is every photographer and adventure lover’s dream location, because it really defines picturesque scenery. This is the reason Amy and Richard chose this wonderful island for their Scotland elopement.
Being lovers of the great outdoors, they of course chose the most stunning spot to tie the knot in. As the Isle of Skye is renowned for its epicness, it can get quite busy with tourists throughout the day, so Amy and Richard hiked up to select their stunning ceremony location away from the crowd with the most spectacular scenery. As Isle of Skye elopement photographer and videographers, we have witnessed so many wonderful weddings but the ceremony of Amy and Richard, conducted by the amazing Gary Smith, was one of the most personal ceremonies we’ve had the honour of documenting so far😍
Amy and Richard - Thank you for trusting us with your hearts to capture your beautiful day 🤍
Couple’s Reaction:
“That was epic, A piece of art. It was so emotional to watch and we loved every second. You captured everything we wanted and wow the scenery was incredible. You certainly lived up to expectations and more! Thank you both sooooooo much. You’re amazing”
