Amy and David are the cutest high school sweethearts you will ever meet. The two couldn’t stop smiling all day, there were no nerves and no worries. Amy gave her girls really nice gifts and she gave her parents really sweet handkerchiefs. David gave his groomsmen individualized mugs with their faces and things they like to do. All the guys thought they were funny. You could just tell they were ready to have an awesome day at their Del Mar wedding! The first look was no different, no nerves and smiles all around. I mean, they were just giddy! “Am I allowed to kiss her?” They did some portraits just the two of them and then we all headed over to Seagrove Park for the ceremony. Their ceremony was full of color and the bright sunny day fit them perfectly. I don’t think there was a moment where they stopped smiling. Their friend officiated which added a nice personal touch and their vows were amazing! “We met in 10th grade chemistry class. Lots of chemistry happened indeed.” It’s so neat hearing vows when couples have a lot of history together. Cocktail hour was on the cliffs overlooking the ocean. Guests enjoyed snacks and a milk tea cocktail that sounded amazing. I wish I could have been a guest at this Del Mar wedding so I could try it! They took some more photos and then headed in for the reception. The dinner was up top at L’Auberge and so the guests enjoyed the sunset during dinner. Amy hand wrote all the guest cards in both English and Chinese on seashells. Then everyone headed downstairs for dancing. Amy and David memorized the choreography from Ed Shireen’s Thinking out Loud and did an amazing first dance. It was seriously awesome. Then everyone danced the night away. Enjoy this beautifully happy wedding!
