Wedding Date on Jun 22, 2019

Amanda and Cole's coastal Maine wedding was a dream wedding weekend. Between the rainbow during the reception and the dancing on the bay, their wedding ended up exactly as Amanda had dreamed it would be. Except she had never dreamed her Dad would not be able to be there. Amanda's father had passed away, but she didn't let that stop her from celebrating on her wedding day. However, before the celebrations began, Amanda started off the day reading a letter she had written to her dad. Her words explained how they had sprinkled little odes here and there to him, and how they will celebrate even harder in his name, as he always had done As Amanda and Cole were getting ready, they each took time to read a letter the other had written them, and when you hear their words to each other, you better have a box of tissues ready! After getting ready at their venue, Portside Manor, the sun came out just in time for their beautiful ceremony overlooking the bay. Cole couldn't hold back the tears as he watched Amanda, escorted by her mom, walk down the aisle. After the ceremony, the guest enjoyed cocktail hour while Amanda and Cole ran down to the rocky beach for some amazing photos. Seeing these two together, it is evident just how much they love each other, and how best-of-friends they have become. The reception was under a tent overlooking the bay, filled with Maine-esque details...shells, rope, flowers. Amanda, being a wedding photographer herself, had an incredible vision for her style, and Pinch Me Planning brought it to life for everyone! Amanda and Cole danced the night away with their guests before doing one last dance surrounded by their guest, all holding sparklers. To say it was picture-perfect would be an understatement. One of our favorite moments from this day was Amanda's emotional Mother-Daughter dance. You could see the bond that Amanda and her mom have, as they laughed, cried, and danced the most fun dance together, in honor of her dad. Amanda and Cole's wedding was the epitome of how beautiful a coastal wedding in Maine can be. We hope you enjoy their film as much as we enjoyed making it!
