Wedding Date on Jul 4, 2020

I first met Joey in the summer of 2012 at Swords Creek Community Baptist Church. This was the church I had grown up in, but living eight hours away at the time, was unable to visit as often as I would have liked. That summer, while spending some time with my grandparents in Virginia, Joey introduced himself, thinking that I was the new girl in youth. That was the majority of our interaction that summer. Joey spent the following summer mentoring me and being a Godly friend during some drastic changes in my life. Never did I imagine Joey and I would rekindle a friendship that turned into an even more beautiful story during late summer of 2016. Since then, Joey has become my best friend and one of the greatest blessings in my life. He has shown me joy in hope, patience in affliction, and faithfulness in prayer. {Romans 12.12} Joey is my confidant, encourager, spiritual leader, and supporter. For these reasons and many more, I cannot wait to become Mrs. Stanley
