Wedding Date on Nov 9, 2019

From the Groom: I proposed at the opening of our art gallery in December 2018. We had been together for 8 years so we both knew we were going to be together forever but never really focused on marriage or a wedding. We learned in 2019 that Grampy, Alyssa’s beloved grandfather was declining in health. With Alyssa being the oldest grandchild, he had always said that he wanted to live long enough to see her get married. Having just opened our small business art gallery, we barely had money to pay bills let alone fund a wedding. We put together a wedding in four months, asking help from the community to do so. From chairs to cupcakes, our photographer and officiant—every single aspect of our wedding was donated. Alyssa ended up buying fabric from a local store and barricaded our guest room as a “no Braden’s allowed” room. Four months later, I turned around to the most beautiful woman in the most gorgeous dress I had ever seen. Every stitch, every flower...all done by my beautiful bride. Here are some photos (I have many more at home on a flash drive but these are the ones I have access to at the moment) More than recognition for my wife, I would love to recognize our photographer and videographer who captured the last moments Alyssa would ever spend with Grampy. All out of the goodness of their hearts, at no cost to us.
