Wedding Date on May 20, 2017

John and I met through our best friends four and a half years ago. Our first date was a trip to the local farmer's market in late August. Sparks flew and almost two years later John proposed during Christmas dinner. We travel to see my family and it was so special to have them incorporated into the proposal. We opted to get married in Massachusetts (originally where I am from) and make it a weekend destination wedding for our friends and family traveling from Connecticut. We chose Plymouth for it's beauty and coastal New England charm. Our venue, the Pavilion at Pinehills Golf Club, was a perfect representation of this. The weather had been warm enough that we were able to incorporate one of my favorite flowers (and color scheme of the wedding!), lilacs, into our centerpieces and bouquets We gave jars of honey from a vendor at the farmer's market our first date took place at as wedding favors for our guests. Overall, we had such an amazing day, and all of our vendors were beyond wonderful to work with. We couldn't have asked for a better day or experience!
