Wedding Date on Oct 13, 2018

The two of us met in chemistry class at UAB. We had lecture together and ended up being paired as lab partners. We both had different mind sets and goals when we first met so we remained friends for a little over a year. We didn’t really speak much in that year until Brian texted me one day while I was in class and wanted to get to know each other a little more. We had our first date on New Years Eve and the rest is history! Brian proposed at Old Baker Farm pumpkin patch! Now if you know Brian you know he’s not great with hiding secrets, especially this big of one. I could tell Brian was nervous and jittery and acting like there was something big about to happen. A couple of our close friends went along with us to the pumpkin patch and was there to capture the big day! Brian had a white pumpkin waiting by itself along the fence away from the crowd. The ring was inside of the pumpkin so once I noticed the pumpkin all by itself I started to have an idea what was next. After the proposal we walked to a small barn the venue had that you could go in. Brian had actually surprised me with the next part of the day. He had all of our family and friends waiting in the barn to surprise me with a banner and food! It was so so special to have everyone there with us. I envisioned an intimate wedding with all of my favorite people in one place and everyone there to celebrate our big day with us! My favorite moment was the first look with both my soon to be husband and with my dad. They are two important men in my life and the first looks will be something I remember for the rest of my life. Having my dad see his little girl all dressed up was a special moment for the two of us. The first look with Brian gave me all the feelings and sharing that special moment with him was like a dream come true. Our wedding was absolutely perfect. We loved having all of our family and friends there to celebrate and love on us. Everything went so smooth and perfect, we wish we could relive this day over and over. We all had a great time!
